What inspired you to start writing? How long have you been writing?
First and foremost, I am a traveller. I come from the tiny island of Bermuda 21 sq miles, a mile and a half at its widest point. That alone made me a traveller. I love to visit new places and observe how people live. I retired in 2014 and became a solo traveller, and prior to Covid, I was constantly on the move. Some friends encouraged me to share my story, resulting in Immersed in West Africa (2019) and A New Day Dawns (2021)!
